Skirting supertask

Post by moonshadow »

A new witty answer to the question.... "um.... why are you wearing a skirt?"

Possible answer: "Well, I am attempting to have an infinite amount of experiences in my finite lifetime."

Very cool "thought" video, from a youtuber who I have a fair amount of bookmarks placed. The part towards the end regarding the Neanderthal I thought was very striking, and made me feel a little less silly about the many hours I spend pondering the "infinite".

Why do humans explore the Earth, and presently aspire to explore the solar system and later the galaxy? It seems the answer could be as simple as why I/we wear skirts.... "because before we started, we never did, and because we can!".

Enjoy!

It's a quote usually mis-attributed to the English conductor Sir Thomas Beecham (1879 - 1961) who reputedly said, "In this life try everything once, except incest and morris dancing". However, the quote first appears published in the memoirs of English composer Sir Arnold Bax (1883 1953), who attributes it as a quote from Scottish conductor, Guy Warrack (1900 - 1986).

Somehow, knowing the history has robbed the quote of all its humor...

My slogan would be " Bring Sexy back in the skirted way!"
"A woman who walks with God will always reach her destination."
