1) Only one comment, while walking around Sacramento: "Nice dress!" It was obvious I was not wearing a dress, so he meant Nice [mode of] dress. I said "thanks!". I got more comments on a B&MRR shirt I was wearing. 2) Yes, I did notice some people glancing down. The more flowy and flared the skirt is, the more people notice. When I wear simple plain above-the-knee ones they are often assumed to be shorts. 3) I took the 3 Style J skirts mentioned above in this thread (khaki denim, blue denim, blue smooth fabric), plus a plain brown below-the-knee skirt from Dress Barn and a mid-calf denim skirt just in case it got cold… have not worn it so far.Regular Guy wrote:I have a similar trip planned in respect to taking only kilts and no trousers.
