Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

What level the Holy Grail is on I don't know - perhaps the

"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
Stick around long enough and still hold an opinion and you will have been repeatedly extinguished! But that's the way it is with a forum full of grumpy old men, LOL.

HA! I might very well be the youngest currently active poster here. However according to Cafe patrons poll, 77% of members polled here are 35 or older.
I myself well be 35 on December 27 of this year.
But for the last few years I've started to notice some strands of silver in my hair. But it's cool. My daughter still thinks I'm hip, and apparently her dad's skirt wearing adventures are all the rage on her Google+ account and across her high school. I've been told I have an old soul, a young heart, and I guess the rest of me is just stuck right here in the middle!

How about "Sad geezer who needs to get out more"?
Just a thought (and yes, I do definitely include myself in that).

Do not argue with idiots; they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Cogito cogito ergo cogito sum - Ambrose Bierce
There's a bit of madness behind the method here, and part of that is to not have any classification above "distinguished" mainly to prevent embarrassment on the parts of those who "really should get out more".
