Being a repairman I've sometimes mumbled that I can fix broke but I can't fix stupid.
You don't get to judge me by your standards. I have to judge me by mine.

As Forrest Gump said, "Stupid is as stupid does." Not quite sure what that means, but the most abject stupidity you will encounter is elective, i.e., people who choose ignorance and stupidity as their mode of existence, unencumbered by either analytical thinking or conscience.

I have observed a condition I call "Wilful stupidity"

I have little regard or respect for people who exhibit this trait.
