So he's wearing a UK, big deal.

Post by skirted_in_SF »

I was reading a print article about parklettes in SF and one of the pictures to illustrate was this:
http://ww3.hdnux.com/photos/35/42/17/77 ... 20x920.jpg
I looked at the paper's website to confirm what I thought I was seeing. The fact that one of the guys in the picture is wearing what appears to be a UK was not even commented on. Sorry, my geek doesn't extend to pasting the actual photo, but the link worked for me. The article is behind a paywall for the moment, but may emerge in a day or two at SFGate.com.

Do you mean this :?:

I right clicked on the picture and copied the image location.
Then I clicked the Img button at the top of the reply window and pasted
the image location info between the brackets.

Works 99.9% of the time :D

We need more of this sort of non-reaction.

Maybe we are getting somewhere!
Keep on skirting,

Yesterday I spotted a guy wearing two pair of patterned tights with denim short shorts. Both patterns were black, but the outer one was ripped in some places so the inner pattern would show more.

The wearer was a good-liking guy in his 20's. He passed me on our way out of a Sprouts grocery store, then walked over to his car and talked for a while with his friend before they both got in and drove away. His friend was wearing a grunge-style outfit with jeans.

No one else took any particular notice. Unfortunately, I was a bit slow on the take and missed speaking with him.

All of which, OK, he was wearing patterned tights and short shorts, not a skirt. But it still shows the kind of freedom we have, if only we dare to use it.

Currently I'm in my easy chair, with my iPad resting on a crossed knee.

(waits)

But my easy chair is in Phoenix, AZ.
