I can't tell if he's wearing a short skirt, short shorts, or just the jacket but he's definitely got guts.
No further info, except that the Facebook poster found the photo on Flickr.

Re: Mens' heels

This has quite a heel and is a fair dinkum mens boot - R M Williams riding boot with square rodeo toe. The price is a bit inflated because of the brand name.

I noticed on their website they listed skirts too - unfortunately only in womens clothing section, if money was no impediment I would buy one so if anyone remarked on me wearing a skirt I could say "Oh, it's a R M Williams", whilst wearing an Akubra hat and riding boots. I am not sure if it would be a good look in the saddle though - just as well I don't ride a horse.

Re: Mens' heels
Whatever he has under the jacket has to be super short - or just maybe he is commando in pantyhose/tights !
Nice legs for a guy and very nice ankle boots (I have a few pair like those - will have to pix and post later).

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Yes, he does look distressingly well-attired and normal. I feel like I ought to be shocked but find myself admiring instead. I'm not sure if that's progress or sliding into a pit but oh well.r.m.anderson wrote:...Nice legs for a guy and very nice ankle boots...

That's a bit on the extreme side for me, but I'm not a big fan of teeter-totter heels anyway. I'd be happy with 2", or possibly 2 1/2" chunk heels, simply for stability.LGG wrote:And then there is this brave guy.

Re: Mens' heels
I posted a photo some time ago of myself clad in my black watch kilt, sporran, and a pair of gold 4 inch heels with a matching gold belt. I got a bit of flack for wearing the kilt with heels. It was all in good fun as it was a charity walk called Walk A Mile In Her Shoes. I have since ditched the gold heels for a pair of red (the official color) 3 inch heels. Oh, and after the negative comments, I won't be wearing a kilt with them. They do look good, however, with my knee length denim skirt.
Re: Mens' heels
Yes, that's the photo all right, although it seems to be a repost and not a photo of the site owner. Still interesting, but it doesn't answer any questions about how the photo came to be. Oh well.denimini wrote:FkickrRay wrote:That's the one! I think I saw it on Flickr some time ago, but you look, admire, and move on. I can't remember where on Flickr....

This site owner, "A man in tights," though, is certainly into tights. For him, I think the skirt is an accessory to the tights rather than the other way around. But if he can go out in public dressed like that then we, with our calmer but still-unusual outfits, can certainly do so as well.
Too bad this sort of thing isn't more common. Remember:
- I would just like to say,
that it is my opinion,
that long hair and other flamboyant affectations,
of appearance are nothing more,
than the male's emergence,
from his drab camouflage,
Into the gaudy plumage,
which is the birthright of his sex.

I noticed one comment asserting that the photo was faked, which has me wondering if it could have been photo-shopped. I don't think it was and hope it wasn't, but the shoes have me wondering.

Re: Mens' heels
If memory serves me right King Louis the 14th wore 5 inch heels. However they were not stilettos.crfriend wrote: That's a bit on the extreme side for me, but I'm not a big fan of teeter-totter heels anyway. I'd be happy with 2", or possibly 2 1/2" chunk heels, simply for stability.
My 3 inch heels that I showed earlier in this thread are quite stable and easy for me to walk in; however, after awhile my feet tended to slide forward. Someone suggested I need an insole insert to take care of that problem.
Carl, with your long feet maybe you could easily tolerate a 3 to 4 inch heel since it is the angle of the foot and not the height of the heel as the problem as I see it. I'm amazed when I see women with short feet still wear 4 inch and 5 inch heels. I myself don't care for the really slender stilettos.

It's hard to say for sure, because the overall image quality is pretty grainy. But if it is photoshopped, someone did a pretty good job. The light on the surroundings and the light on the tights-wearing guy seem to be from the same angle, and I don't see any artifacts around his edges.dillon wrote:I noticed one comment asserting that the photo was faked, which has me wondering if it could have been photo-shopped. There is some funkiness where his right leg overlaps his left, but that could be shine off the tights.
