Steve Jobs and Bill Gates

Post by Sinned »

This joke really cracked me up.

Steve Jobs and Bill Gates coincidentally meet up in an airport terminal and are sat talking as they await their respective flights.

Bill says to Steve, "How was Heaven?"

Steve replies, "It was perfect. But there aren't any fences or walls in Heaven, you know."

Bill says, "So?"

Steve says smugly, "Well there's no gates or windows!"

Any others?

Reminds me of a tagline that went around on OS2 boards years ago:
OS2 - shuts up Gates and opens windows. (I may have the second half off a bit, it doesn't sound quite right)

Steve Jobs is taking to Bill Gates.

Steve says to Bill, "Remember when we were poor?"

Bill says, "No".

Steve says "Me neither".

Bill never was poor. His father was a name partner at one of the larger Seattle law firms and they lived in one of the nicest, most expensive, parts of town.

^Specifically, Laurelhurst. Neighborhood east of the University of Washington. One of the streets was renamed for his mother after she passed away.

Not wanting to analyse humour but I think that that's part of the joke. Bill was never poor but Steve came from a more modest background. I suppose that after their late teens neither of them saw financial hardship.
