Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
I had heard of quite a few developments from 3D printing but nothing this big before now, though the principle is still the same - only the scale is different.
"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on" - Winston Churchill.
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it" - Joseph Goebbels
I've seen several types of house building 3D printers, this one currently seems closest to actual being production ready. We will be seeing an explosion of 3D printing over the next couple of years, A lot of the patents are no longer applicable, you can get a plastic 3D printer ready to go from about $500, and sometime in the next couple of months one of the key metal 3D printing patents lapses. THAT, is going to result in some major changes.
