Carl always remember to say to yourself and anyone who may ask your age:

"I'm old enough to know better, and too young to care!"

Many happy returns of the day! Hope your Birthday is a grand one!

Cincuenta y tres. (At least that's what Google's translators call 53. I have some basics in several western European languages along with some theoretical grounding in Latin but am otherwise a complete and utter monoglot.)

To WSherman: Interestingly I do not feel like I'm 53. I still have the curiosity and capacity to be amazed by the world around me that I did when I was a child, and all the intervening years have done is help fill in some of the immediate questions -- but I can still be amazed and feel the wonder of things around me. I suppose when I lose that trait it'll mean that "the time is getting close".

To everybody else, thank you so much for your warm comments. I'm humbled.

The best part is that it looks like 2014 is the dawn of a new day, and I'm pretty much back to being my old self. Life, once again, is pretty good.

Cheers!

I got busy yesterday, so I'll add my belated birthday wishes now. Glad the second year in a row composed of two primes is looking up a good ways for you from your current vantage.
