A deep voice
A deep voice
This bass vocalist may be in the Guiness Book of World Records.
I think he goes down to a 16' C note - basically 3 octaves
below middle C.
Enjoy

Re: A deep voice
Maybe, maybe not. But his lowest "note" is only C# and it doesn't sound properly at all. So his lowest note is really only D#. Pah!
I find a few Guinnesses leave me singing very very low the next morning, don't we all?

Hi B & B,
Nothing was "dubbed" in that clip.
Not sure but this could be J.D.Sumner who sang with
"The Blackwood Brothers" and "The Stamps" quartet.
Here is a Youtube clip of J.D. singing Wayfaring Stranger.

Re: A deep voice
Almost a belch. Sounds like a D alright, sort-of. However, combined with the other voices it sounds quite OK.

Re: A deep voice
Quite impressive. At those low frequencies it easier to hear the intervals than the actual tone, so it's hard to hear if he's in tune or not. B&B, I think it only looks dubbed because the audio and video aren't sync'd well.
Didn't that dude from The Oak Ridge Boy's have a pretty low voice?

Just checked the key-signature against a concert pitch tuning fork. The low note the guy gets down to is E flat.
