I wonder what Bryan May (yes, that Brian May) would have to say about that. He does have a PhD in astrophysics, you know. Good stuff, save that I don't understand the math behind it.

I am familiar with some of it ( understand is perhaps going a bit too far - the generalities but not the detail ) but some of it is unfamiliar to me. Not surprising in a field that seems to be advancing at light speed. The theory about this universe having holographic characteristics is familiar. But do you know that empty space is not empty and can be quantised - also dimensions and even time! Don't get me started.

The song itself is quite clever - I've listened to it a couple of times now and I need to pull out the things I'm not familiar with to gauge their relevance.

At my level I just enjoy the a-capella choral music. The fact that just one guy does it all and sings all the parts is nothing short of amazing.....Very amusing, too.

Our son is doing a PhD in this subject (Theoretical Particle Physics) and these theories, particles, dualities, compactizing, multiple dimensions to the universe, fermions etc. This is the stuff he talks about when we see him.
