Probably the biggest waste of time is the time you spend worrying about what people are saying or doing.....its not about what others say or do but what you are saying or doing.....

The world would be a MUCH better place if people would simply mind their own business. And don't get me started on busybodies...

I've always said that what others think of you and say only matter if their opinion has some status in your list of values. If not, then why should you care? In my case only my immediate family's opinions matter to me - anyone else I couldn't care less about. Although to clarify this I do take some notice of some of the things said in this site!

I agree with the comments listed above. One cannot live their lives enslaved to what they think other people think of them. However, we don't live in a vacuum - we live our lives with other people. So I think we need to take other people's opinions into account. It doesn't mean that we need to live our lives at other people's whims.
