Re: denim skirt
That looks really good!
Re: denim skirt
Pleats? It'll be called a kilt (and what's wrong with that?)
Nice looking skirt Tom, I'll be interested to learn how well it works in the real world and feel sure there will be pictures to demonstrate it soon.
Have fun,
Ian.

Really nice. I could go for one like it.

Re: denim skirt
Now I'm torn. It's denim (don't like), but it's box-pleated (absolutely love).
I think the love in conquering the don't-like for now, so I'll say it looks good on the floor: I'm sure it will look better on the Tom.

Re: denim skirt
Well here's 'The Tom' with said garment on with three different tops. We had a half-decent Spring day for a change here and I tried out my new remote zapper for the SLR. It works a treat.

Re: denim skirt
Very smart, Tom.
The next step would be a matching tailored jacket (and a different hat, perhaps?)

Re: denim skirt
Thanks, Martin. Yes, I had thought of a matching jacket, but at the moment the expense of that rules it out. As a total one-off they screwed me for Eur 160 for the skirt and quoted me the same for a short jacket in the same material with black detailing. I might do it at some point in the future.
The old denim cap has done long service to deck my folicularly challenged dome, but any other type of hat is difficult to decide upon.

Re: denim skirt
That's very nice indeed! But for a hundred-sixty Euro it's going to need some prettty serious mileage to pay its freight.

Re: denim skirt
My MM returned from her trip to the Peak District, Derbyshire, England and as a thank-you for looking after the Menagerie, hey presto! she produced a zip-front padded knit jacket which is a perfect match for my new denim skirt number.
Today she is out playing an away tennis match, so Muggins here went down via the lake to visit the donkeys and I snapped off a few pics. Big Boy Blue, now, everything sort-of matching!
