I found the denim skirt on E-Bay
it is made/sold by Style J

I think I have about 5 skirts from Style J now. Well made, reasonable pockets, good skirts. Pity about the cost of importing them to the U of K.

No I didn't, quite a few of my skirts are sold from over the (online) aisle but so far the skirts I have worn in public have been mostly either kilt or Midas denim skirts, The Style J skirts would also be great but apart from one calf length rather straight one with a short split at the back(office skirt type), the ones I have ordered are all floor length, just a bit too long really and with a tendency to get dirty hems outside, I wear them around the house and save the Midas skirts for outside. Must get a camera out and have more piccies taken with my current skirt selection. Style J seem to do a lot of 41" length skirts and I seem to keep buying them. The Midas long custom skirt is 40" and tends to sit above my toes, maybe the male waist shape makes a difference as well.

Midas are from Manchester so they actually work out a bit cheaper for me as well as being built to order, most of my Midas are custom lengths. I do like the Style J stuff, but I would like to replace some of their pockets with something larger, most of them are on the small side. I must admit though that the Midas cargo skirt pockets are smaller than ordinary jeans pockets, at least the top front ones are.
I just wish Midas would do something about their website, it is years out of date and must be costing them business, that is if they are still going! I am starting to worry because I don't know of anywhere else who will custom make affordable skirts for men.

I agree that Midas needs to do something with there web site,it is very out of date.
I got some Style J skirts for about $45 each and last time
I looked Midas skirts were almost $300 each

Sabine Seidel makes mens skirt to measure. I ordered a long jeans skirt a few years ago and I was, and still am, quite satisfied with its fit and durability.
In the meantime I shortened it by some 10 inches to make it more of a summer garment and to ride the bike in it.
The language is German however and that could pose a problem. Even I as a Dutchman had trouble to find the right terminology to fill out the orderform.

This is very simple, Martin; these skirts can be found in the "mens department" of her site. Or, in German, Männerröcke.
The fit differs from womens skirts as women have a different waist/hip shape curve.
