Need feedback on this Midas tunic

Post by MoonDrake »

This is the Trojan style camo dress by Midas clothing. I think I'm going to order it tomarrow. I searched the net for eight hours to find something similar but come up empty handed. What do you all think of it?

Although I would not wear this garment myself I still like it.
It looks like a cool travelling dress with its usefull pockets.
If you like it why not order it?
Don't forget to post a picture of you in this dress.

Acually I just cut out all the panels and I'm gunna make it myself. I'm not paying that price for a skirted jumpsuit( more or less ) and I am handy with a sewwing machine. I got a computerized singer pro, and I boaght a sewwing table with an actual dressmaker brand professional machine. Quite old I think.

Hi Moondrake,

I am not sure I would wear it but it does look like a short-sleeve shirt and camo skirt rather than a one-piece garment so it does work rather well.

Let us know how you get on with the site. It has been noticed here that the website is well out of date though one e-mail query/contact I had with them over a year ago indicated that they did still exist and that they were aware that the website should be updated.

I too have wondered about buying some skirt from them such as this http://www.midasclothing.com/pages/prod ... =16&s_id=3

A couple of years ago I saw one fellow wearing this to the theatre http://www.midasclothing.com/pages/prod ... =52&s_id=3 which looked good.

They are defenantly over priced and the one peice is box and knife pleats if I'm seeing it right. I'm gunna make the skirt part longer I think at first and shorten it till I like where it's at. I'm also attempting to have one made out of bikini material( and not camo) for and canoe outfit.

What is bikini material?

I like the look of the tunic, though I think a skirt and separate tops for variety would be more useful.

I like the simplicity of this tunic shirt, I've started my project in making a similar peice I'm a fourth of the way there. Got the top part done, got to fit it and make the skirt part. I'm going to make it a little longer and then shorten it to taste by trying it on. I wear short skirts around the house in comfort but I have woman's hips and deriar so a short skirt gets even shorter when put it on an ride up easily to become shorter as I move around. I am very neutral as far as feminin/masculin goes. I like many styles at home but in public I do not want to appear a crossdresser or homosexual. Even if I am extremely feminin I am all man. There was one member that posted pictures elsewhere on this site in high waisted long skirt blouse and waist coat, I thought it was very elegant and refined and would love the style myself, however I don't think I could pull it off.
