I do indeed wonder why Seattle rather than anywhere else.

It may have something to do with the weather.
Not too cold and not too hot although a bit wet from time to time !
Wearing woolen (heavy) kilts in the southland has got to be a challenge in the summer.
As well as wearing (light weight) faux woolen (polyester-acrylic) in sub zero climates.
Seattle's weather extremes if that are very suitable for any type of kilt wear.

And other than that the owner/operator of Utilikilts just happens to live in the Pacific Northwest.
