Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
Tuesday, November 1, 1941 was as of this coming Tuesday, 70 years ago. Only one thing of note happened on that day 70 years ago and it was only of note to the couple living at 221 Buttonwood St. Reading Pennsylvania, USA. Their first, last and only living child of 6 previous attempts lived. ME...In those days people didn't realize that certain blood types were incompatible. In their case it was Orh- and A+. At that time the most incompatible blood types known. They kept trying and finally had one that was so hard headed he lived. You folks have noticed I am somewhat hard headed, right??
Well anyway, I'll be celebrating my 7th birthday as a member of SkirtCafe and all it's previous incarnations back to Tom's Cafe in 2004 when I joined y'all. I may not be near my computer on Tuesday so I'm mentioning it now.
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

Skip,
You're obviously in much better nick for your 70th Birthday than you were last year approaching your 69th. I'm delighted for you, and have a great day. There are a lot of us who would like to celebrate with you, so the Forum can do it for us.
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
