Emblem.cc Men's skirts and Dresses.

Post by SkirtRevolution »

For those of you who like long skirts or dresses, here is a company making them.

http://emblem.cc/

Quote from their site

"emblem.cc has arisen out of the necessity to represent the individual stance of contemporary man as a conscious single in society. We offer the neglected chapter of man apparel, which transgresses daily monotony in displaying his line to the surrounding."

Prices are a little high but I come accross this website and thought it would be good to post it on SkirtCafe, at the least it is encouraging to see a growing trend for companies to provides men's skirts and dresses.

If their dress-making is as good as their English ...!

My usual gripe : black clothes need special lighting for photos. As usual no details are visible here, so I'm not about to send large wads of $ to order something I cannot see (even if I had wads of $ !)

I rather like the long wrap style skirt but what a shame that the colour choice seems to have been inherited from Henry Ford; "Any colour you like so long as it's black".

I would like to see more of the construction and design details of the skirts too. Things like pocket configuration, wasteband fastening etc have a significant impact on how a skirt feels for me and I'd certainly not be spemnding that much money on one without better product information.

Have fun,

Ian.

When I've taken Holy Orders, perhaps I might give them a call. and that won't be anytime soon.
