skirt for men

Post by ckilted52 »

Hi guys

A new web site, http://jeanguyetco.free.fr/index.php?Hi ... our-hommes . These guys are friends with Hej(hommes en jupe) french men in skirt association. Therefore, the skirts are made for men, by following the men advices.
I didn't try so far, but I will soon. Products seems to be of good quality, and not expensive.

Interesting ideas, I find some a bit odd, but some good ones as well. I must bookmark their site for next time I feel like shopping.

You can check the 2011 collection.
I own a brown "Cowboy" skirt and a "Kendo" skirt.
They are of good quality and comfortable.

I particularly enjoy wearing the Kendo skirt.
Compared with the other long skirts I own, it's very easy and agreeable to walk with it.
And the pockets are well designed.

Why oh why do they show nice skirts with clumsy boots or thick tights, it is not what I want to see and I'm sure it down grades the whole look, but I could be wrong

'Cause they think clumsiness is masculine, for some reason.

Funny people.

The boots? I think there is a concern about appearing feminine, so there is an attempt to counteract that. But the jarring result comes across as straining to appear masculine.

I think bare, hairy legs are far more masculine looking than ANY boots or long underpants of any color. I Thought the whole idea of wearing a skirt was to appear masculine without appearing to be hunting your horse in trousers of any kind. The skirts in the pictures seem to be just copies of various kilt styles instead of something new. They've been trying for several years now in France to come up with skirted styles for men, but they seem to lean heavily over to pleated kilt looking skirts of all different possibilities.

I don't HAVE a horse or motorcycle, thereby negating the need to wear trousers of any kind. Comon, fellows, lets do something original, not just make semi-copies of everyone else's skirt styles. :faint:
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.
