Re: Anybody on Google+
What do you mean by "On Google"? Google is my search engine. Probably a lot of members' search engine also.
I don't use gmail either, I find that FREE AOL email far outdoes any other kind of email and is tons safer as well.

I use Google as my search engine!
I tried using their web pages for some groups but they are really lame about how their groups look and how you use them.
Gave that up years ago.
Never used their G-mail either.
I use my comcast home page or a yahoo e-mail. Don't even have hotmail anymore.

No, Facebook works for me, just keep all important personal info away from prying eyes, by making it up!
Also keeping this skirted identity separate from Facebook, not ready to go public with most of my mates, still don't want my place of work to know I do skirts and word would get back. Security is a terrible thing!

Re: Anybody on Google+
This is why Google+ is awesome. You can post and show items based on circles of people. So you don't have to share everything with all your friends. I can have a skirt/kilt circle and post in that for my SKirt/kilt bodies....Big and Bashful wrote:No, Facebook works for me, just keep all important personal info away from prying eyes, by making it up!

Yup, I'm on google+, although I don't have a skirts circle.....yet. I often post skirted photos of myself online without caring what other people think. You can find me at nicothoe@gmail.com

Re: Anybody on Google+
But everyone I know is on Facebook. Sorry, I now find I don't bother with Skype or Messenger anymore. Maybe when everyone else seems to be migrating, but not till a majority are moving across.

I'm not on any social group like Facebook, MySpace, Google+, etc. All of the invites I get to join groups like these are from people who are already my friends. If I want to know what my friends are up to, I call them, email them, or visit them. Works for me!

Re: Anybody on Google+
I never joined any of the social networks either...when I first thought about it some 3 years ago, the one I considered had a warning, "Be aware of outside entities that might get in your system" Scared me off and I've not gotten interested in taking an "entities" chance ever since. Probably will stay that way too.

Re: Anybody on Google+
I do log into Facebook quite regularly. I ignore anyone I do not know, but have found a number of interesting groups that keep me up-to-date with environmental, health, anti-religious and political activism. It's a matter of picking and choosing. My first impression was that one could waste a lot time on pointless chitchat, but there's more to facebook than first appears.
I also get to know what my daughter is getting up to when she forgets to write to me!
