If a well-known Scot gets himself in trouble, what hope is there for the rest of humanity?
But how many people made all the noise? I suspect that you will find that, as usual, it was a few loudmouths and that the vast majority did not give a stuff one way or the other. I have no reason to assume that Scots are any more pro- or anti- men in skirts than any other regional population.

If we allow a minority to instill fear and a refusal to wear what we choose, you can be very confident that there will never be a step change in the wearing of skirts as men. It's been said many times before, but if we want to wear a skirt it is up to us to put it on and go about our daily life. Nobody else will do it for us.

Have fun,

Ian.

Well said, sir!

Under the "Nobody else will for it for us" dictum also falls "celebrities", "sports stars", and the like. If we feel this is important enough to be worth contemplating, then it's important enough for us to lead at.

I don't think there is any men's clothing choice that looks worse than damp, wrinkled, unclean business suits with wrinkled ties and slovenly looking (once were) white shirts. I think to keep that stuff looking to any way neat and clean takes at least 2 washings and pressing all, including the Tie every 24 hours. Don't forget to polish those black leather shoes daily too. :faint: The body needs at least 3 baths a day too, 'specially if you live in a warm climate. :faint:

They probably look good. After all they are costumes that have frequently been used in films, comic strip (bandes dessinées), so presumably they are looks that the general public finds attractive.

I do intend posting some pictures of me in my outfits when I have the time to get my camera gear set up. They're not exactly outfits designed for wearing outdoors, but are very 'family-friendly' as far as the designs go.

In the 200,000 years that the humans of today have been evolving, men have spent over 99% of the time wearing skirts as the norm! 'Wear' are we going wrong?

I think this a common frustration that is often brought up on this forum. The truth is, the only restriction we have is the one we place on our self. It takes guts, courage, confidence and determination to finally throw caution to the wind and put on a skirt. You can't change people's attitudes over night, but you can change how much you let them affect you.

In the two years I have been wearing skirts, I have gone from being nervous and apprehensive to almost an exhibitionist. I enjoy wearing the skirts when out and about. I walk with my head raised. I make eye contact. I smile at people.
Be Bold. Be Skirted.
