That's a nice find for the styles, phathack. The models themselves were an unimpressive lot though, their general awkwardness took away from the clothes they were supposed to be showing off. Quite a difference from the guys here proudly sharing their looks in the photos section.

Some of the outfits there look quite itneresting.

But you're right....those models almost look...depressed. Something not right there!

Favorite of the styles? There were a couple of nice loose, sarong-ish skirts there (liked the appearence of the very first one...but not how it was taken off to reveal the thong)....also, liked the nightshirt-like garments I saw a couple of the guys in.

I think this every time I see male models; invariable sullen, bored, do not always hold themselves well, but tend to slink in and out as if ashamed of what they are doing or wearing. The girls are not necessarily any better, all adopting the same standardized provocative look of a street-corner slut.

Is that the way young men and women want to be seen?

I'd assume however they carry themselves in and out of the aisle it must be the way the designers are ordering them to, otherwise, the designers would certainly hire someone who will carry temselves the way the designer with the money tells them to. I have to believe the way they slink on and off the ramps is exactly how they are told to do it. :D :D

I reckon they are trying to look mean and moody, unfortunately to me they come across as glum/sullen/unhappy to be doing that. They remind me of small children on the way to the dentist! "Aww Mum! I don't wanna go!", next thing you will have them sitting down and screaming! Bless there little cotton socks!

I think the look on the models is contrived. The designers want people to look at the clothes, not the "attractive" model.

But I agree with the general idea that the clothes would look better if the person wearing them seem to be enjoying them.
