Budget Utility Kilt

Post by Adrian »

I decided last week that it was time for a new kilt. My budget has always dictated that I get a wool blend material which I know is a false economy because they just don't last but needs must. So I headed for my preferred on-line supplier and was surprised to see that they now do a heavy cotton utility kilt in plain black. The price was right and so was the size so in the basket it went. Having selected the free p&p option I knew I had a bit of a wait but it arrived this morning and I just can't tell you all how pleased I am with it. It's quite heavy and will need a few washes to stop it feeling like I'm wearing cardboard but the main feature is it's value at only £50.

Here's a link to their web page but they also have a shop on ebay too and post worldwide.

The kilts look very good value. Not a web site I've come accross before but I've made a note of it for the future, as I don't need any more kilts at the moment.

Well it's had quite a few washes now but hasn't lost it's stiffness. Thats partly because it is a heavy denim which I'm sure a fabric conditioner will sort out. On a positive note though the wife commented on how heavy it is which I saw as a green light for getting a lighter skirt
