Re: Sightings "in the wild"
You were riding a pushbike naked? Or was that a Harley?
Re: BBD..
Well I got into some sewing today. I was going to dressify the velour skirt I spotted in a catalogue with the bodice of one of those heavy cotton dresses. Joining up is not a piece of piss. The materials are of course completly different, with vast difference in elasticity. As with the old velvet on...

Pomegranate juice. That sounds interesting. I'll see who sells it around here.
I was on 7.5 mg, but just reducing salt to a minimum got me softer.

Re: I wish I was a girl
Stopping for hitchhikers. I usually stop if they look okay. Usually students or young people on an overseas expeience. I hichhiked all around Australia in the 'sixties. Some of the driving was attrotious. I'd offer to take over, and often did. Swap ends on a railway crossing? That happened. But not ...

Re: I wish I was a girl
This is an interesting subject to think about. Male Health. For instance, what amazing medication might I be on to keep me tickety-boo at my age? Felodipine. Five milligrams daily. Felodipine is certainly not a new drug, out of patent even, but it's magic. What it is,is a tissue softening drug. Just...

Re: Sleeving on a jet plane
Yes, sleeves are not easy to do. ALWAYS use a stitch ripper, then you cannot go wrong.
The lace ones would make a good pattern, and you could then see if you want more length or width for instance and make adjustments from there.
You may be able to rescue sleeves from someting else too.

Re: I wish I was a girl
I definitly prefer to be a male. We have less complicated bodies, with less to go wrong with them. I see the quack every six months, and have blood test yearly. All totally tickety-boo thus far (seventy-four), about half original teeth. Men, I think, make their own boxes to confine themselves in as ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
I remember the song "Manjana" "The window she is broken and the rain is pouring in, If someone doesn't fix it I'll be soaking to my skin. But if we wait a day or two, the rain will go away, And we don't need a window, On such a sunny day.. Manjana, manjana, Manjana is soon enough for ...

Yes, people on the street don't seem to take any notice if you maintain suitable decorum.
I like quite a wide longish skirt so I can have some fun swinging around in them. Do a bit of a pirouette in the grog shop as I decide which department I'm heading for. Not noticing my swing skirt huh?!

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Thinks. I'm supposed to be getting on with renovating the kitchen. Mouldings to go on around the back door and wood onto airing cupboard, as the door is on it but piece accross the top and down by the latch are not. But first the softboard on the wall arond the back door has to be replaced by the pr...

Sometimes another job can be gotten on with while another one is processing, such as transformers being "tropicalised" in a vat while I do housework or something.

Re: New surf dress.
Well yes, I certainly enjoy my dress surfing. It's better to have a more dedicated design methinks. The lighter cotton t-dresses were the best. Perhaps a bit revealing upon reviewing some of the video clips I thought, although there have been no complaints on YouTube. (!). The long Silkbody one was ...
