Re: Wearing high heels

I typically wear 3 inch heels on Sunday mornings, something very few people at my church do.

Re: Heat Wave

As an American, I can't stand the way the US as been so SLOWW in adopting metric units. US customary units (similar to imperial except for volume measurements) are like old pre-decimal British money: 12 pence to a shilling and 20 shillings to a pound. And the Fahrenheit temperature scale has that we...

Re: Getting compliments

I have elected to keep my masculine name and identity, and I speak with a deep masculine voice. I have to admit I have been on estrogen for the past 13 years, so I have a somewhat feminine appearance. I don't need breast augmentation at all. I will *NOT* have bottom surgery, SRS. Yesterday my dermat...

Re: Getting compliments

Yesterday (2025 July 30) I went to a restaurant with other members of the local amateur radio club for a weekly brunch. I was wearing a floral dress that was slightly above the knees and sandals. One waitress said to me, "Hi, beautiful one".

Re: Wearing a skirt with jeans

I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, and we are enduring highs of 38°C/100°F. The most sensible garments that I wear are short dresses. I need all the air to cool myself in those hot conditions. To conserve energy I set my air conditioning to 27°C/80°F.

Re: Develolping fondess

All I wear these days are dresses. The last time I wore trousers was to my mother's funeral 2024 late September. Some lady in my church approached me to tell be of a dress sale at Walmart. I said I didn't need any more dresses since I have more than 40 of them. She told me she had only 4 dresses. An...

Re: Buying freedom

I take it one step further. I ALWAYS wear dresses. Just think, I don't have a belt around my waist and I never have to match my top with my bottom. I have the necessary chest mounds to fill out the chest area of my dresses. They are so comfortable, I wonder why more people, particularly women, don't...

Re: Skirt Wearing by Women Increasing?

The prohibition of men wearing skirts and dresses, from my experience, resides in their heads. I wear dresses ALL the time, and I have yet to be harrased or threatened in any way. That include church, shopping, meeting up with other men in my local amateur radio club, getting my vehicle serviced, etc...

Re: Skirt Wearing by Women Increasing?

Just realized something-I hardly look at women's clothing anymore. In my youth it was much more interesting, but there has been a long term trend towards dullness. Come to think of it, I seldom look at anybody's clothing. There was The Great Male Renunciation starting around 1750. Sad to say, we ar...

I have never understood why anybody would wear a long sleeve shirt or jacket with shorts. It seems unbalanced to me.

Re: Robert identifies as Leo

I was wondering why there wasn't a pope from the US. As pointed out, popes typically take on different name when they assume office. So, there could have been a pope that could take on the name of Bubba. Imagine: Pope Bubba I. And if he came from a southeastern state such as Alabama, he could have t...

If I wanted to dress like a typical woman, I would wear t shirts, jeans, and sneakers. I *DON'T* dress like a typical woman as I wear dresses and heels.

Re: Using the Restroom and Fear

My problem when I use the men's restroom even while wearing male attire is I get read as a woman, as people give me stares as I enter the restroom. On the other hand, while wearing a dress and using a women's restroom nobody pays attention to me. On the other hand, I would NEVER enter a woman's lock...
