Re: Slow Site
I've been noticing the site seems much slower than usual, however because I'm currently in the Philippines, I suspected the issue was more to do with an external bandwidth or other problem concerning traffic into and out of the Philippines. I did not suspect my current connection as I'm on fibre to ...

Re: What women really think
I have no idea how these will fare. Will it become illegal for a man to wear a gold necklace? Will it become illegal for a man to have long hair? Send in the police, quick smart!!! I'm in Manila, Philippines currently, sitting in my lounge room, wearing a sarong, gold chain and I have quite long ha...

Re: The desert at night
I have to say... in my travels, I've been quite taken with Utah. We drove right down the middle of it from Idaho to Arizona. Fun fact... the Macabi skirt I was wearing was designed and marketed in... Utah of all places. I got a few friendly comments all along the way. I also really liked the scener...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Please do not use the term "man-bun". It is just a "bun". When women wear a bun, we don't call it a "woman bun". It is just a bun. Terms like "man-bun" are actually harmful to obtaining fashion equality for men. We do not have to differentiate things as for m...

Re: 8.8 Earthquake and Tsunami
My wife, who's currently at her hometown in the Philippines told me that while they did hear about the quake, there was no tsunami warning there. I was in the Philippines myself in 2012 when a 7.6 struck, we were about 150km away from the epicentre, no tsunami threat but it rocked and rolled for abo...

Re: Wearing a skirt with jeans
I don't think I can add much that hasn't already been said already. I do recall maybe 15 to 20 years ago seeing some younger women wearing skirts over jeans so it's not a new thing. I think baggy jeans under skirts just looks uncomfortable and untidy... Leggings or similar under a skirt, more practi...

Re: Do People Notice?
Do people notice when something is not confined within the box.. Yes. Do women notice more than men? I'm not 100% sure on that. One thing that I do know is that men don't make a comment unless they're trying to make fun or take the mickey of something that's not conforming to the normal...(whatever ...

Re: Your Favorite Skirt Length?
For me, around knee length or a bit above but not shorter than about 4" above knees, I do have a few longer sarongs or lavalavas.
First skirt I wore was a lavalava when I was in the Solomon Islands back in 1997, very comfortable and practical in the climate and environment.

Re: Skirted Style in the Philippines
In all the times I have travelled to the Philippines maybe 10 to 11 times (I have family in the Philippines as my wife is from there), I have never seen men wearing skirts, sarongs or other such garments, although it might be more common in Mindanao which is close to Malaysia, where men in sarongs i...

Re: bike riding
Looks fine Anthony, between the handle bar and the seat, there's nothing that is at least obvious from what is visible in that picture. While I do ride bikes myself, and I'm looking at getting a new road bike probably next month, I can't say I've ridden around wearing a skirt. Many memories of seein...

Re: Kilt of the Day-- St. Patty
A little late to the party. I completly forgot it was st. paddys day and dressed in all black yesterday - earned myself a nasty pinch from my wife I did. I better put some saving towards Ozkilts st. patricks kilt . I quite like the look of it. Seb, OzKilts are located around the border at the south...
