#4 skirt has box pleats at the back and a flat front, simulating a kilt. But it is not a wrap, instead closed with a concealed zipper with the zipper pull tucked under the waistband.
I found this great deal on a stretchy chinos fabric that only stretches in one direction. Sadly I made a mistake by fitting the skirt before putting in the waistband and cut the length when stretched. I did not realize it at that time and and wondering why I had so much excess fabric left over from my measurements. At the time I thought it was fortunate as it was quite loose but now I know it was actually due to the stretch.

Now the front seems permenently stretched and not smooth. I'm kinda demotivated to finish up the waistband and wonder if I should try to salvage this or just abandon this and remake another. What should I do? *saddness*

PS: I just had a thought whether ironing on some interfacing on the front will help with the crinkling.

Some projects teach you things, but do not result in a useful garment. Stretchy material is difficult to work with, especially if do not realise about the stretch early on in the project. I also wonder if the fabric is right for the pattern.

The final thought to bear in mind is how happy and confident will you be wearing it, if you do not feel good in it?

Your time may be better spent on #5 skirt.

By the way, we all have failed projects, but most of us are not brave enough to share. The plum purple skirt in the picture below is the second version of the skirt. The first ended up as a sticky mess and I cut it up and made other things with the material.

The second version of the skirt I was very happy with and love wearing it.

I have a bag of lost skirts in the loft and another bag in a cupboard.
Off topic I tried to repair a pair of Birkenstocks who's soles were so thin from new that they barely lasted 6months.
Not being one give in to minor unconvinced like worn out brand new shoes. I stuck new soles on with superglue. That lasted all of 5minutes. Superglue is too brittle. Then I tried impact adhesive. No, also failed within an hour of wearing.
Next tried "Shoe goo". That did the trick! One week later and the soles are still firmly on. I'm going to try my worn out ankle boots next.

For a skirt hem to be level when worn, the back needs to be longer than the front, which in bespoke garments, is often done by making the garment too long, and then marking the length while wearing it using a skirt hem marker.

The skirt looks good to me, but in my opinion is a bit too flared for the shape of the torso.
