those types work fine. I could call the ones on the bottom a nightshirt and nobody would know otherwise.

I have three or four nightdresses very similar in style that have lasted years, it looks like they have changed from supima cotton to standard cotton recently though:

I love wearing nightshirts. These are nice but if one wants to allow your energy to flow then you have to choose fabrics that are natural and not man-made. Linen and wool are my top choices for higher vibrational frequencies that can help with healing the body.

I bought this as a nightgown, but now I think maybe it would be fine to wear out and about with as a dress. What do folks here think?

Actually, these tube socks have tread on both the top and bottom for some reason.

I have a few, most recent one is a short sleeve from snags.
And I have two long sleeve ones from pop
I also have four knee length short or no sleeve ones from h&m or kappahl or other physical stores that no longer have pictures.

I'm not gay nor sissie. But there's something about this nightdress that I'd love go to bed in. Problem is my wife would kick me out of the bed and tell me to sleep in the guest room

A person can wear pajama pants as street wear, why not one can wear a nightgown as a dress. Our opinion doesn't matter; just what you are comfort with. You can ask all these chat apps and get different answer's. A chemise is noted that can be worn as a slip, a dress, or as a nightgown. Such clothing has its benefits such as saving money on laundry, by wearing as a dress during day and as a nightgown at night.
Some chat apps says if it is to sheer the answer is no, but consider a fact that a woman can buy and wear sheer blouses for street wear. There are sheer dresses being sold for street wear. Just layer these clothes to make your fashion style.

The youtube channel 'beepworld' has demonstrated wearing 'granny nighties' as day dresses / layered over other pieces numerous times. A long sheer robe / gown can layer over a lot of things.
Men historically used to wear long 'nightshirts'.
