Hello everyone!

I’ve posted a couple of times, but realized I never gave a proper introduction. I’m based in Houston, TX, and I’ve been wearing skirts for a couple of years now. Over time, I’ve been steadily expanding my comfort zone and now often wear them out and about. At this point, a decent number of my friends have seen me in one.

Like many here, my interest in wearing skirts goes back to elementary school—but at the time, it didn’t feel safe to try or even talk about. I’m bisexual and married to a wonderfully supportive woman who’s grown to genuinely enjoy my fashion choices.

In addition to skirts, I like wearing cropped tanks, leggings, women’s jeans and shorts, earrings, and other simple jewelry. I lean toward an androgynous look, so much of my wardrobe now comes from the women’s section. I also do a bit of sewing, which lets me alter pieces for a better fit or to tweak the silhouette.

This style journey has sparked a lot of introspection and shifted how I see the world. I’m looking forward to sharing thoughts and learning from others here!

Hello AnonUser30, and :welcome:

You are one of the fortunate few, having a supportive wife (as am I). Make the most of it and show the world that men can wear skirts!

Welcome to skirt cafe. I know Texas is a very large place, but quite a number of guys here, call the state home.

It is great that you have a supportive partner. Sewing is also a very useful skill to have in getting a skirt just the way you want it.

Thanks for the kind replies! Yes, I'm very lucky to have a supportive spouse. She's become my biggest fashion fan.
