I wear a skirt like that in public but I don't dance or go bare chested, hence I get very little attention.
He certainly seems to be an extrovert.

Bit of an understatement, but that guy cares alright.
He certainly appears to be making damn sure he gets maximum attention.
He's having fun and doing no harm, even spreading a little joy.
Maybe the world needs more like him.

I agree with you Stevie. With his disguisement and his dance, he was definitely looking for attention and trying to amuse people. The pose he takes at the end for a photo goes in that sense.
Good on him for that, it was a success!

I'm not much on the minis but sometimes I think about slipping on a long boho and busting a move on the sidewalks of Seattle.

Back east, lacking any large cities within a reasonable distance I often wondered about doing this on an interstate overpass.

Truth is.. I doubt I'll ever work up that kind of nerve, but it's still fun to think about.

I'm more comfortable in London than I am in Reading. Just stick to the centre.of Seattle.

My son wore pink and red nail varnish to school the other day. I waited for the fallout (my conditioning kicking in). His mates said he would look better in black and green. The girls paid him complements.

How wrong was I?

Perhaps we need a thread "Silly reasons why men should NOT wear skrts" ............ because I can't think of a sensible reason why not.

Why don't men wear skirts? Because men don't wear skirts. Circular logic, of course, but it's what always gets trotted out...

Simply put --- "Because I can" !
Shocking statement that may or may not continue the conversation with more discussion of the serious merits of wearing the skirt.
No dresses for me.
That noted - I wear mostly mini kilts (14-16 inch hem length) and skirts with pleated tartan plaid patterns.
One must of course practice the usual protocol of modesty when wearing any short hemmed garment least the discussion go awry
with controversial overtones.
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

I just say that I like wearing skirts and prefer them to trousers. Seems to satisfy the curious.

I'm working on my comfort level with the shorter kilts because I do like them and I like the way they look, but I'm not quite there. I think as I've lost weight I'm feeling better about them.
