It's much.easier to take a leak at a urinal with a skirt. You don't have to fumble with a zipper. You simply lift the hem.

Oh Dear,
Guys, the man said, "Silly", drop Mr Sensible!
That dude is no fun at all, no matter how he is dressed.

Sorry, there is nothing silly about that. Should be migrated to good reasons to wear a skirt :)

To be frank, none of the reasons given here are silly (as any reason is good enough to wear a skirt), but it definitely belongs in that other category.

I've been offered that skirt thus I am obligated to wear it. Please accept my present *take another skirt that was hidden somewhere and tend it to the person who did ask*

I like the compliments.
"Look at Scottish guys wearing kilts - you could look at them and laugh, but the way they carry themselves, how can you? You can wear some of the weirdest things and be cool. If you believe in it, that's what makes it cool."

When asked "why the kilt?", I have quite often replied "my trousers are in the wash".

Don't forget Andy Stewart's "That's the reason noo I wear the kilt".

Every nicht I used to hing my troosers up
At the back of the bedroom door;
I rue the day - I must have been a jay
I′ll never hing them up anymore -
Because ma wife she used tae ramble through my pooches
When I was fast asleep beneath the quilt,
And in the morning when I woke, I was always stony broke -
And that's the reason noo I wear the kilt!

Two true stories, both silly reasons from other people.
I think I might have related this before but it fits in here and was partly what prompted me to start this thread.

On one of my first outings in public, if not my first, I was filling with fuel in Broken Hill trying to look confident, nonchalant and relaxed when I saw a friends son, Robert at the servo. I greeted him as normal and went and paid for the fuel. I found out later that Robert immediately rang his mother and told her that he saw me wearing a skirt and I didn't seem to realise that I was (At least my effort to look normal must have worked). His mum and another lady, both who were aware of my skirt wearing pondered how I might have ended up wearing a skirt without knowing. We had a good laugh at Robert's expense.

A friend of mine related the story of how I first started wearing skirts to another friend who was aware but curious. After the explanation he told her that he thought it must have been some sort of religion.

That's comedy gold. If it hadn't actually happened I would never beleive someone would ever think such a thing.
