Another Costco dress

Jessica Simpson ladies' cozy dress. $12.97 at my local Costco.
In three colors: black, navy blue, and burgundy.
Approximately knee length, has side-slits (trim-tabs, I call them).
In a warm, stretchy fabric. The illustration on the label has a rather "unisex" look.
I have not tried one on, but it looks interesting.

I'd wear it, actually, I have several knitted dresses of a similar shape/style and work perfectly well on the male or female form.
As for a generic, I wouldn't describe them as being "unisex", they are just dresses.

They call it a dress, but it has no shape at all. My SO called it a kaftan :shrug:

It's comfortable for (working from) home. Only problem really is that it's actually slightly too short for me, so my ankles feel the breeze
