Walmart Men’s Skirt

Nice to see this in Walmart advertised as “Men’s casual skirt” Why does Walmart describe this skirt as “ Role-playing Costume Skirt” This should be everyday, not role-playing.

I've been fascinated to watch the progress of this particular skirt, which began life as an original design from hiatus-shop.com, a small atelier in the south of France, then was cloned in the Far East with inferior fabric to be offered on Chinese e-commerce sites at a much lower price, and now has made an appearance chez Walmart.

Their price implies that this is not the original -- but if you flick sideways on their picture to see the photo of the skirt against concrete wall, you will notice that, by a remarkable coincidence it's the same wall as can be seen on Hiatus-shop's website:

I have the Hiatus version in black, and I like to wear it for parties....

It looks OK and practical, I couldn't view it in other colours as I had to stop the webpage loading before it went to a login screen.
Yes, I wonder if the intellectual propery was justly paid for, certainly cheaper made by underpaid workers in China. One is a cowboy skirt and the other a Scottish middle ages one, so it should be adaptable.

I got one of these. I liked the blue, I liked the look and cut in general, I liked the length,
I liked the price. The sizing is smaller than advertised. I got XL, that should have been about
38 inches, instead it's about 34. It's a tight fit. First I buttoned and zipped it, then pulled
the skirt up over my hips like a hula dancer. It fits high on my waist, with the hem exactly at
my knees. Once on, it's a snug fit but comfortable enough. The fabric is like an extremely
lightweight ripstop. It wrinkles a lot. There's absolutely no elasticity. The skirt has four belt
loops. That's barely adequate. (Most skirts have five, a good pair of jeans has seven, my bayou
camouflage skirt from Cabela's has nine.)
I'd give it a qualified "thumbs up" as an interesting, inexpensive, summer weight skirt.

You are correct, the male models are missing. I checked the same page earlier and I remember them being there. I googled a bit and the European site still features a male model on another products pictures https://eu.sheertex.com/es/products/pol ... eer-tights

Equality going backwards like this doesn’t make me happy so I think I will write them and ask what’s going on.

Ok so I wrote to Sheertex and got an answer in three minutes despite being in a completely different time zone than Canada

On the man page there is a male model, I did not go into each design/color to see if there is more.
