Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
also somehow I think in reality the old centurion battle dress wouldn't have been quite that short ...or would it,?
On that , anybody recall the Carry On movie Up the Kyber that featured kilts a lot and Wonderwoman with the gorgeous Gal Gadot and the scot in the kilt or Dr Who and Jamie also in a kilt ....Cheers..
As I recall, the old Bravehearts kilt forum had an article that mentioned the fustanella. Looks good (though too short for my tastes), and could conceivably become accepted. But likely to remain uncommon, due to the complexity.
