Hello from Southeast Germany

Hi everyone,
Since someone from southwest Germany just used a similar title, I thought I would follow suit
I am originally from the United States, but have lived in Germany for long enough to remember smoking in clubs and bars (well over a decade).
I started wearing dresses as a kid because my mom kept a few of her dresses in my closet since she ran out of room in her own. Out of curiosity, I tried them on and figured out pretty quickly that I liked them. It wasn’t until I was older and on my own in college that I purchased my first skirts.
Since then, I’ve never stopped wearing them! I have also added a few kilts over the years which I regularly wear out in public. I also frequently wear some of the skirts I purchased from the women’s department. I occasionally get strange looks, but for the most part, people don’t care.
I generally tend to go for patternless, bold-colored clothes and that also applies to my skirts. As such, they tend to look less “feminine” than a floral-patterned skirt would.
My interest doesn’t stop there either, I also have a passion for high heels, particularly for high heeled boots.
I’m excited to have found this forum and am looking forward to partaking in some interesting discussion!
Best,
Alex
