My news
Many of you know that I have suffered many side effects after I had Covid. My doctor just called and said I have two masses on my spine. They are seperate and leads her to believe it is Metastatic cancer. Sorry for the eruptness, I am in shock.
Re: My news
I understand. I was shocked too when I was told that I had colon cancer. (About a decade ago, while I was lying in a hospital bed).

Unlike that virus thing which effects people with its various side-effects.
Glad you have caught it in time to be aware of it and can do something about it.
Good Luck - God Bless - hope all goes well - - - - -

Thank you all so much. They are saying the masses and lesions are inseparable from the nerves, which could leave me paralyzed.
Re: My news
Dang. Just a few weeks ago we were chatting about potential retirement homes/dreams -- and now a big unexpected glitch, but it does sound like 'progress' if these are 'benign' lesions rather than cancerous growths. You've mentioned alternative medicine and past skirmishes with western medical practices -- I've no knowledge of where to venture here, but hope you are able to get informed perspectives from both camps, as well as immediate practical assessments from the technology so much in use in the US. It can be amazingly useful. Meantime, keep some of the dreams close as inspiration and confidence that you do have those days to look forward to. Don't let gloom and doom kill your spirit, much can be overcome.

Re: My news
Masses and lesions are different things, and are discrete from tumours. You'll need to find out precisely what the problem(s) is/(are), whether they're malignant (cancerous) or not, and whether there's signs of growth. With those data in hand, you can start formulating your plan. In the interim, try very hard not to panic; panic is virtually always counterproductive.
Here's hoping for slow or stable benign matters!
