Santa Brought a Utilikilt
I got a Utilikilt from my wife for Christmas... I need help! Which way is forward? Tag go in the back? It's solid black, can I wear tights with it? Footwear, always work boots? Thanks in advance! Merry Christmas!

The PLEATS go to the back or ah er side - the double aprons go to the front.
All the mickey mouse straps belts buckles are usually on the right hand side
with some fastenings on the left done up first.
Pay no attention to that label behind the curtain just make sure it is
"Just Your Size" and not some obscure measurement in quebits !
The Color "BLACK" is great - pretty much universal and so is the Utilikilt.
So go ahead and mix and match anything in your wardrobe !
Strut your stuff - enjoy your gift - someone thinks well of your fashion !

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

She bought me my pants size, it's a bit, okay, WAY too small, we are exchanging it... For what it's worth, Utilikilt's customer service is top notch! I cannot wait for the new one to arrive!!

Finally warm enough to come to work in my kilt! Thinking I should have gone with black hose instead of taupe...

Re: Santa Brought a Utilikilt
It's hard to explain how different I feel wearing a kilt. It so much cooler than a skirt for some reason... It's oddly so effing fun. I mean I love the thing! The girls at the local beer serving establishment, who have seen me in skirts plenty, said that by far the kilt is the most bad ass. Maybe it's because I feel so bad ass in it, that the confidence is projected, I dunno.. but I sure love my kilt!

Warm enough to break out the kilt again at work today. I think I like it better with black hosiery.

Well done Mike ...Tag to the rear, If present, loops for hanging storage on the hips....
Looks good in black.....still popular in Seattle..
Looks to me like a drop head M.G.B. with wire wheels in British Racing Green ,
a good 1960's Classic Car with a sound of its own.............
M.G.B. ..... M.G.B.G.T. ..... M.G.C.
Looks good in black.....still popular in Seattle..

Well done Mike ..There was a Post War M.G.A. prior to the M G B......I also went out with my father on test In an M.G. Magnet Saloon in the fifties ....
that car did over a Ton....102 or 103 MPH........The M.G.B was a popular car in the Sixties .................The Morris 1000 was a popular car 73 M.P.H.
Saw a Morgan Plus 4 a couple of days ago............There are many classic owners club rallies visiting Cornwall in the summer.

Actually WL, the quoted top speed of a MG Magnette was about 80mph and the Moggie 1000 was 62mph. The MGB was capable of 100mph downhill and with a following wind.
