Hummm - 78 views and nary a remark aye a or nay.
Maybe the PINK is the turn off ?
The Kilt/Skirt is sold as a PINK but the actual color is more Bright Red (see 3rd photo).
And yes I really wanted it closer to the vivid PINK but computer monitors are notorious for altering the hue of color.
So what you see may not be what you want or wish for but I am not returning it - the cost of shipping across the pond is atrocious !
In any event I will still stand out in a crowd and the lime light will be PINK with a shade/hue of Bright Red !
I don't push envelopes - I shove them with a hearty disdain for the plain ordinary same ole same ole !
I have accepted critique of my clothing choices in the past - nothing has changed here !
Once told if "Can't stand the heat - get out of the kitchen" - my response "But why do you bake with the oven door open" ?

I just saw it and will comment. I like it. I think you may not use it a lot between the Komen events, but its great.

MOH gave me a dark pink, sort of fuchsia colour, skater type skirt, elasticated waist. Not worn it yet outside but with a suitable top, probably white then why not. I think MOH would have kittens at the prospect of it.

I like it. I'm a big fan of pink. But like AL said, maybe a bit too short.

I do like it, simply because it dispells stereotypes and is incongruous. It is a good practical looking kilt and I think 16" length is good, worn low on the waist. I would wear it in olive or beige/sand but not bright pink (or bright red).
That is just my taste, brave with short skirts but a coward with pink. You would not be lost in a crowd.

Pink? No big deal...



I've actually worn that one quite a few times over the past few years. The hem got snagged on a seat recently, so needs to be repaired before I'll start wearing it again.

KJ, I think that you must be unique in being able to carry off a skirt like that. On anyone else it would probably look ridiculous. I have liked all the looks that you have posted so far.

Exactly. That's where the experience comes into play. Do it long enough, then it becomes normal.

Actually, I like the pink much more than the red. Too bad it didn't come as advertised. It really should have been more pink since it represents breast cancer awareness. It's a nice looking kilt. Wear it with pride.
