90's and humid today... after the storms pass... so I dressed for the occasion. This is me coming out of the boss' office yesterday.. Pretty much what you'll see me wearing at work every day.

Good look! You're lucky to have an understanding boss and, I presume, staff.

Love it! If only I could do that... Sadly, my boss is of the view that I regularly have to meet customers and suppliers and need to dress to present the company image. Skirts at work are not an option for me.

I have to confess that I would not choose that footwear but if it is comfortable for you that's fine by me.

Have fun,

Ian.

Not too far from the sort of skirt I've been wearing at work. The shoes are not my thing though.

Looks a cheerful and cool outfit and the skirt is short enough to enjoy a breeze. Short skirts are great in hot weather. The heels look very natural on you and one could argue that they keep you off the hot pavement. You are lucky to have a sensible employer.
I too have a very good boss where I can wear what I like; being self employed.

I tend to prefer lace-up oxfords with a thick two inch heel, I suppose because they're the most similar to men's leather shoes. They do strike some people as school-marmish or mannish, though. (Yeah, mannish, like that's a problem. Go figure.)

But by all means wear what you like and whatever gives you the most confidence. There are certainty no styles to follow in men's high heels.

Gotta ask, though, does your boss's secretary have a sports car for a desk?

It's a great look and you're lucky to be able to wear it to work.

Great look, much like my own style. Except I couldnt wear those shoes in our weather, which I will wager is worse than
Michigan. Sandals and flip-flops are the norm for me six months of the year.

Thanks y'all... no the sports car is in the showroom. The hosiery is L'eggs Sheer Energy, all sheer, in coffee color. The shoes are from Payless. I don't wear heels every day, just sometimes when I feel like it. It's funny, as you'll notice in this thread, more people comment on the heels than the skirt - same thing in public. If I wear a skirt and boring guy shoes, nobody says a word about anything. I don't think anyone ever notices the hosiery, or if they do, never mention it. Maybe people don't like talking to guys about their underwear lol!!

Agreed, they notice the heels first, then the skirt, and then the hose hardly at all.

I must be different - I clocked only the skirt, then the heels, but only when it was pointed out. And I didn't think there was any hose at all!

I must be really unobservant!

Anyway, it is a great comfortable look 8) :D :D Just the outfit for hot/humid weather.

Unlike the cr*p summer we are having here. The temperature has only once reached 20deg C this year but we are stuck in a rut at 13-15deg C for some time now and the situation isn't due to change looking at the 10-day forecast. Hailstones expected at the weekend for instance!

I noticed the skirt first and then the heels. In a 2D photo, given the brown hues of the setting, the hose didn't catch my attention until they were pointed out. It really just looked like some graininess in the resolution. Given the limitations on file size for posting and viewing, low definition is pretty much an expectation, so it was easy to miss the hosiery.
