......because of all the people stopping to take photos with him.
They are treating him as a novelty act, will it encourage guys is skirts ? I don't think so, not unless they too want to be a "novelty act" as well.

I think the 'novelty act' bit is due to the school uniform he is wearing.
I think he'd fade into a "Man in a skirt! Where?" background if wearing a standard single color skirt and normal male clothing on top.

Novelty value, no more, no less.
Try that in some parts, you may end up dead.

So what changed? We are all going to end up dead...
If you are talking of an accelerated journey to the end of the mortal road, where are you thinking of? I recall very few cases of people being killed for how they were dressed and not many more where people have experienced physical opposition to dressing out of the norm.
Have fun,
Ian.

I agree. I doubt many other men will imitate the schoolgirl thing.
I hope the gentleman is happy with his attire.

I remember something within the last few years about a guy in the UK doing the same thing. In his case it was in a small town and people just found it creepy. If I remember right, wasn't he banned from dressing like a school girl? Quite a different response.
Anyway, I applaud his attitude and guts to do what he likes. I've got one or two school girl skirts and I love them.

The man in question was Peter Trigger in Northampton, England who was given an ASBO (Anti-social Behaviour Order), which he subsequently breached and was eventually given a prison sentence. The problem wasn't so much him wearing a school girl's outfit, but he would hang around dressed as such near the school gates as children made their way to and from their primary school. Definitely creepy and upsetting for children, parents and staff.

Some explanation may be in order here.
I live in Aberdeen, ordinarily, a very peaceful city.
However, not so long ago, a guy was murdered here because he was perceived as a paedophile. In reality, he was a beligerent drunk.
Right or wrong, the girls' school uniform on a guy could be miscontrued and lead to disastrous consequences.
The fact is, people jump to wrong conclusions and act badly.
In a "normal" skirted outfit, there are areas of Aberdeen that I'd avoid at certain times, others I'd simply avoid.
I'm fairly sure this is true for city dwellers everywhere.
Steve.

MOH seems to be of the opinion that I will get beaten up if I venture out in a skirt. not happened yet - not even close. True I wouldn't go to the town centre ( even in York a more moderate city ) on a Saturday night in a skirt ( unless as part of a stag do ) but aside from that I have never considered myself unsafe or even the centre of attention ( mostly just ignored ). I have said that there will be others like me in the world and I've not really come across only one or two examples of harm being done to a male skirt wearer. Newspapers would certainly headline such events as they did with that student who had his skirt set alight.
