Looked at a conversion chart....if that is 40.8 C, that works out to about 105 degrees F.

I hadn't been thinking in terms of long skirts, but they do look dignified. Another possibility that comes to mind is a sarong.

105F is hot, even for eastern NC. We hit 100 once or twice each summer, with 70% + humidity, but seldom 105. Would that I could wear a skirt in my work. Once I retire in a few years, things will be different.

Not quite my idea of a "long black skirt"... but it looks good and a lot cooler than a dark pair of trousers. Good for him!

At 40.8 C I would have gone for a mini skirt
