Seems to be a good mover & shaker, hoping to get some important things done before he gets too old ( He's no Spring Chicken!), but you can bet he wears trews under all that rig.

My wife is Catholic, and Argentinean, so little happens with this new pope that isn't reported to me. Though I am a cosmic deist, and often a cynic, I do admire Pope Francis greatly, so please take no offense if I ask a somewhat cynical question. Could it be that Francis was given the honor simply for not being Benedict? Much as Obama was given the Nobel mostly for not being Bush? Regardless, It is refreshing to see reform in thought rewarded...

My guess is that he was given the honor because he's opposite of Benedict, which is somewhat different.

Well it's better than Papa Razzi being given the job because he was the same as his predecessor.
