At least for a brief time, I believe that the term Microculture would apply to the Swedish train drivers.

Heck, the term "microculture" applies to the very existence of Skirt Café! That's hardly news.

Interesting and supportive comments.
I've long thought that air conditioning in offices is set for the men (in suits) and so the women freeze.
Still, not wearing suits and turning the air con down to suit both genders is a good argument in these green-concious days. Unfortunately the corporate world is still has a Dickensian attitude to dress - at least for men.

For the moment at least, I'd never appreciated just how much I'm "living the dream"
I'm free'r at work to be skirted than at home, my choice, I should stress.
I'd have given a reply but I'm certainly not willing to expose my facebook lists.
To be sure, we are a "microculture", I've still to meet another skirted guy, in the wild, as it were.
Maybe, someday.
Steve.
