Fashion article aimed at your "inner Braveheart"
In last week's Observer, an article ostensibly about Scottish-made men's knitwear, but every photo which shows the model's lower half displays the kilt. Some nice non-tartan designs, but none of them are cheap.

Yes, they were expensive, but they were very attractive outfits, and I think any man would look good in them.

Having recently been assailed by so much overt impractical rubbish on the 'couture' catwalks it's a refreshing breath of fresh air to see some seriously fine outfits modelled in pleasant surroundings. That young guy has a perfect figure, of course, but all of those offerings would suit portlier blokes well enough too.

A pullover costing more than a good kilt?
I'd better dust off my old knitting machine -- and read the instructions.
