Here is a forum topic about the Men’s Skirts page of facebook. I am surprised how positive most of the comments are. I think about a good 85% are in full support. There are also some women who are really defending our right from some of the few negative comments. What I find interesting is that just about all of the people love men in kilts, even if some ignorantly believe they are not skirts. I firmly believe that the kilt is the garment that will open the door to ALL unbifurcated garments and I think it’s great to see positive comments like the one that can be seen on this site. More than any other time this is the time for us men to really get out there and claim our right to wear unbifurcated garments and get some real positive exposure!

Funny how the topic crops up on quite unrelated forums. Does it mean that more men than we thought don skirts in private at some time or other?
Of course, what the women did not say was what they may have thought :
"All men should wear skirts -- except MY man!"
A post I liked :
"I just cannot believe the amount of bigots on this website. A man in a [skirt] does not become LESS attractive just because he is in a skirt. A woman in pants does not become less attractive because she is wearing pants instead of a skirt, so why is it okay to be so close-minded towards males (...)?
Every time something like this [anti men-in-skirts] gets posted, I just want to cry for humanity because the comments inevitably show people who still belong in the ages of women being property (...)"

It's really simple, all men should not wear skirts, but all men should have the choice.

I think both Men and Women look better in skirts.
But I may have a slight bias in my opinion...

Not at all, man! You are the one with the open mind. It's everyone else who is biased against men's skirts. Poor things, it's not really their fault, they've been brainwashed from an early age.

I think that should be written "All men should not wear skirts, but all men have the choice." What a shame so few choose to exercise the choice.
Have fun,
Ian.

Or is that, "Not all men should wear skirts, but all men should have the choice to do so."?
What a shame so few choose to exercise the choice.
Indeed, skirt wearing is not for every man -- it's the empowerment to
decide to wear a skirt or not that is key.
