The Scottish Sunday Post newspaper recently featured my kilts. Some journalistic licence has led to a few inaccuracies but overall it was a positive article:-

The article pictured may have some "license" in it, but it's not apparent to the casual reader, and, as you mention, the tone of the article is overwhelmingly positive. I would posit that it is a positive advert for blokes in kilts! Well done!!!!

Great to read you again and to know you are still out there in kilts spreading the word and advocating increased choices in male clothing in the most effective way possible.

It is also good to see your name in print, and to be able to greet you as Alex, rather than using your sign on name. Somehow it makes you more real, more human and a friend in a way that you could never be while staying completely anonymous.

A little known statistic about the "Sunday Post". Published in Dundee, it has or certainly had the widest circulation of an Sunday paper.
Ex-pat Scots get pretty well everywhere.

So there was an advantage to a garment that can be wrapped, as opposed to a garment that must be climbed into. It occurs to me that sarongs would also have that advantage.
