Hello there people

Good to read the discussions that are going on here, looking forward to contributing to some threads soon.

I wear WHATEVER I feel suits me, except brassiers or tampons as I have neither breasts or a vagina, am very content with I was given at birth (and use it frequently with the opposite gender)

Every woman wears exactly what she wants, it would be ridiculous to suggest that she is transgendered because of the way she wishes to present herself, this is the freedom of choice I am fighting for.

For the record, I'm also fighting for the right for men to remove their facial (the 'male veil' of stubble and shadow) and body hair properly, especially as laser treatments are now very affordable, and are actually designed to effectively remove very thick hair.

I guess I don't have the same fear/paranoia of 'androgyny' as the Christian and Islamic religions clearly do. After all, male/female animals look exactly the same as each other, I'm in favour if adults presenting themselves in the 'image of their (sic) choice" as Gandhi once said.
If it was deemed necessary, we could always wear little armbands saying "male" or "female".

In the interest of accuracy, in many animal species there are noticeable differences between the male and female, it's called "sexual dimorphism". You may have noticed such differences in the human species.

Interesting article, but I think you get the gist of my point...most people can see a cat or a bird as a cat or a bird, and these animals don't have any problems distinguishing gender, do they?

So we humans can't have a problem distinguishing each other I presume? Or perhaps we are not as intelligent as animals?!?

No, not really. When a baby is born, the only way to distinguish gender is to check the genital area.

As we grow, we (male or female) may be tall, short, fat or thin, according to genetics, diet etc etc.

Some of us (male or female) are more 'hirsute' than others; for example a Far Eastern or Anglo-Saxon man may have much fairer body and facial hair than say, a Mediterranean or Indian woman.

Many men have 'moobs' on account of being 'big'

It HAS been proven, through much research many years ago that hair on the head is not a gender specific part of a human. It's true it used to be thought that men had short hair and women naturally had long hair. Of course that was only believed during a geologically short period like a couple of thousand years. It was found out that men with long head hair were NOT a natural oddity.

Some men who know the proper terminology realize that both males and females have breasts, just as they do in all other mammal species. In some backward upper hills and mountainous areas it was widely believed that only females had breasts, males had "chests" and not just the kind valuables were kept in. Females' breasts have different functions than males' breasts have, hence the option to refer to them as male "chests". Refer to World War Two famous Sea Captain and Admiral, Admiral "Chesty" Puller...named that because of his "buff" and muscular looks.

I, too, exercise my rights to wear what I want to wear; skirts, tights (pantyhose), boots with heels (sometimes all three at once) but always as a man.

I'm quite lucky that I am naturally without much body hair, including facial hair. If I let the face grow, it forms a natural goatee.
