Unisex traffic lights

While in Spain last year I came across these pedestrian traffic lights. The middle picture is a little green man, the right-hand picture is a little green woman.
Don't know what the local drivers thought - a man in a skirt (sarong), stood in the middle of the road taking pictures of the lights
The digits above the picture tell you how many seconds you've got left before the traffic tries to flatten you.
