Is this only my impression, but I believe the idea of M.U.G. is spreading with bigger steps?
Good advocacy!

Sure is. I also have a blog. I guess I should have it at my site. O well, better late than never.

Ok normally I would save a link to the info pages of people talking - in a good light - about men in skirts for later, as I usually forget what I was doing. HOWEVER - What's with the picture of the exposed behind?
Can we not do anything that will not expose noramlly and properly covered body parts?
This reminds me of the all the unwanted gay mail I got because I posted a message about men in skirts on MSN Lifestyle pages - THEY ALL wanted to show off the should be hidden body parts like trophies!
As a straight person I nor MOST anybody I have ever known left that kind of stuff in the privacy of the moment or on more associated venues. NOT just out in the open, expecting everyone to automatically like it. Also, if the sex act is not the issue then why show off such things?
I have to say that by my thoughts and I think most "regular" people the picture does nothing but harm to our ideas of skirting.

I would suggest lightening up.
While I would not want to see people posting stuff like this here (it could get out of hand pretty quickly), there are quite a few websites out there -- mostly set up by women, from what I have seen -- showing men in kilts where the kilt gets blown up or where the wearer inadvertently shows something of what is under the kilt. Sort of a men-in-kilts version of the famous Marilyn Monroe pose. I think these pictures aren't so much homoerotic as they are a product of the curiosity that just about everyone has about what men have on under their kilts. Childish, perhaps, but not pornographic. And maybe also a bit of turn-about, given the huge number of pictures of nearly naked women in suggestive poses that you see all over the place in billboards, television, magazines, etc.
And, when you come down to it, one of the thrills of skirts (and kilts), whether you wear them or look at them, is the
idea that they
might show more than the wearer intended to. It may not be your thing, but it is for a lot of people.
I think that accepting and dealing with and not acting threatened by the thoughts that naturally come to people's minds is more likely to get people to feel comfortable with the idea of men in skirts and kilts than making a federal case out of a few on-line pictures.
