I think the guy looks rather fetching in his pink strapless dress.

Yes, much better than the last story about a guy mowing grass...

Reminds me of the bloke who used to hang around Muenich Hauptbahnof (Munich's main railway station) back in the '80s and early '90s. He always wore a pink dress! Might have looked quite presentable if he'd shaved more than once a week!

I've only once seen a guy in a pink skirt, one evening in Stansted Airport in London. Turned out he was going for the same Easyjet flight as me to Newcastle. He had quite a lot of facial hair. He was along with one other guy, going about their business quietly, not part of any fancy dress stag group or anything. Nobody seemed to take notice of the pink skirt, except apparently myself as I was interested to keep an eye on him to see what sort of attention he would attract, which in fact was none. Not that I have any notion of wearing pink, but the episode gave me the encouragement and confidence to start travelling skirted and since then I have worn a kilt or skirt on all my airline trips, including to London, Belfast, Dublin, Malaga and Las Palmas.

OK, so you're saying that with my big bushy beard and ample chest hair I'm not a candidate for such a rig? {sigh} That just brings back that "gorilla in a dress" comment. (Where's the "WAAHH!" smiley?) ;)

Remember that the wives custom fit the dress to the guy.

The "gorilla in a dress" comment had more to do with the fit than the fur. Stop whining (although I did provide good material for whining)

It's all about the fit.

I did, indeed! Cannot seem to do umlauts (or accents) on this keyboard. I also meant to spell "Hauptbahnhof" correctly, too! That's what happens when you're typing while tired!

Aha! Not really! Just that the chap looked 'scruffy' with (usually) 2-3 days beard growth! Mind you, long hair and/or beard does seem to act as an "American identifier" (as opposed to the 'military crop' haircut!), I've noticed when wandering around Europe - a bit like if you see a bloke wearing a scarf, it's a 90%+ chance, he's Dutch!

Okay, w/o the umlaut, it's Muenchen. Münich is French or English, not German...
